CORR The Jute Works received recognition from the Bangladesh Handicrafts Manufacturers and Exporters Association (Bangla Craft) for its significant contribution to the national economy through the development and promotion of handicrafts. The recognition crest was formally handed over to the Director of CJW Rita Roselin Costa by Md. Aminul Haque, State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Advisor to the Hon’ble Prime Minister on Finance and Planning, on 25 July at the Annual General Meeting of Bangla Craft held at Hotel Le Meridien, Dhaka. This recognition is a significant acknowledgment of CJW’s continued contribution to the handicrafts sector and contribute to Bangladesh’s economy through fair-trade handicraft development and exports.
