Tree Plantation and Sapling Distribution

On June 22, 2026 Monday, CJW Tree Plantation and Sapling Distribution Program-2026 was held at the Women's Cottage Industry in Sonapur, Noakhali, to mark the Laudato Si'-2026 Program. The event featured Reverend Father Pankaj Ignatius Pereira, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish as the Chief Guest, alongside special guest Sister Agnes Rozario, CSC, In-charge of the Women's Cottage Industry. Mr. Martin Gomes, Manager (Development and Information), representing the CORR-The Jute Works. Highlighting humanity's duty to care for the environment, the speakers encouraged collective action toward creating a sustainable planet. That an herbal tree was planted at the Women’s Cottage Industry campus after the program. CORR-The Jute Works distributed one herbal and one fruit-tree sapling among the artisans of the Women's Cottage Industry.
